Larkin Mortuary’s annual Memorial Day service was started 23 years ago to help families honor their loved ones and military veterans who have passed. Services will include a flag ceremony, patriotic music with armed service songs from each military branch, bagpipes and drums, and refreshments.

Chris Stewart grew up farming and ranching with his nine siblings. After graduating from Utah State University, he joined the United States Air Force and graduated top of his class in flight training. He flew the B-1 bomber for 14 years and holds 3 world speed records, including one for the fastest non-stop flight around the world. While serving in the military, he developed a passion for writing and has published over 20 books, including two New York Times best sellers. Stewart was elected to the U.S. Congress in 2012 and is proud to represent Utah’s second district. He and his wife Evie have 6 children.
