Spread Positivity Campaign

neighborhood decorates sidewalks with positivity messages for the children

A woman in South Jordan launched a “Spread Positivity” campaign by delivering sidewalk chalk to her entire neighborhood with a note encouraging them to write positive messages on their sidewalk on Labor Day evening so the school children can be surprised by them on their way to school on September 7th. Hoping that the chalk messages will stay visible through 9/11. This campaign is being shared through social media and word of mouth in an attempt to have as many other communities join them as possible. We want to give our children a sense of peace in the now and hope in the future. The woman’s name is Christi Youd. She is a friend to many in her neighborhood, a real estate agent by trade, and a grandmother of five young grandchildren.
