The Alta community wants to kick start winter and you’re invited to the celebration.

It starts at the Collins Base with a bonfire and s’mores from 3-5 p.m. And Goldminer’s Daughter will have its Slopeside Cafe open with drinks and pizza. 

Also, Skier Services will open so you can pick up your season pass while there.

Stoke up for winter at Our Lady of the Snows to see top winter photography and videos from local heroes. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Showtime is 6 p.m. Free admission.

Local, live music and a huge raffle to win the goods.

Join in to the Snow Dance. Projected opening date is Nov. 22 weather conditions permitting.
