The next three Wednesdays are special at Brighton. Bring a donation and get an all day lift ticket for $20.

December 7TOYS --Donate a new unwrapped toy with a value of $10 or more. Toys go to the Utah Foster Care Foundation.

December 14 –  CLOTHING -- Donate a warm article of clothing such as hats, jackets, pants or anything that will keep someone warm this winter. Clothing goes to The Road Home Charity.

December 21FOOD -- Donate a grocery bag full of non perishable food items. Food go to the Utah Food Bank.

Historically, Quad Wednesdays began years ago when Brighton installed the first quad chair in the area. To celebrate, Brighton offered 4 tickets for the price of 1. But it quickly turned to chaos.

Skiers would plunk down their money wanting just 1 ticket at one-forth the price. But the computers were programmed to spit out 4 tickets. Mountain volunteers frantically tried to match up groups of 4 people to divvy up the 4-ticket package.

Even that was chaotic. Some had cash. Some wanted to use a credit card. Groups of 4 people had their own problem figuring out how to pay within the group.

Since then, Quad Wednesdays have kept the name, but now it's win-win. Bring a nice donation and ski or ride for $20.
