Park Madness profile: Creekside Park

Holladay's Creekside Park is the #10 seed in the City Journals' Park Madness tournament.

At first glance, Creekside Park may look like your average park with grass fields, a playground, etc. But then you notice the grove of enormous trees and the disc golf baskets, and hear the water of Big Cottonwood Creek, and you realize this is not your average park. Creekside Park’s strength is the way it seamlessly combines the features of a “developed” park with the undeveloped nature of something like a Dimple Dell Park, all into one. Between that and its extremely popular 20-hole disc golf course, Creekside Park has one of the most unique offerings in the tournament.
