Mountview Park in Cottonwood Heights is the #4 seed in the City Journals' Park Madness tournament.

Built on the former site (and named after) a demolished elementary school, Mountview Park is one of the newer parks in this tournament. It boasts a popular splash pad that draws lots of families throughout the summer. It also has a traditional playground (as well as a separate simpler playground for younger children), soccer fields, a medium-sized pavilion, new bathrooms, and a nice basketball court.
