Bring a donation to support Utah charities and ski or ride at Brighton for $20 on the first 3 Wednesdays in December. It's an annual tradition and everybody wins.

Dec 2: Bring a new toy that's worth at least $10. The toys are for Utah Foster Care Foundation kids.

Dec 9: New hats, socks, coats and gloves are donated to the Utah Road Home.

Dec 16: Bring a grocery bag full of canned goods for the Utah Food Bank.

Quad Wednesdays began about 20 years ago when Brighton installed one of the first quad chairs in Utah. To celebrate, a quad group of four people could ski or ride for the price of one. The computers were programmed to spit out four tickets. But not everyone came in a group of four, so it was mayhem trying to assemble groups of four. Then, when a group of four did assemble, there was confusion on how they would pay. Some had credit cards and some had large bills.

Now Quad Wednesdays still carry the name, but it's become a win-win for everyone. Donate and ski or ride for $20.
