Snowbird's annual Customer Appreciation Days are scheduled for Oct 15–18 from 11 to 5 p.m.. The resort thanks its guests while it helps two community organizations.

Donate 3 cans of food or hygiene items or make a $6 cash donation and all foot passengers receive a tram ride to the top of the mountain. All food and hygiene donations will be donated to the Utah Food Bank. All donated money will benefit the Wasatch Adaptive Sports Program. Help those in need and have a scenic adventure as a thank you.

Last year, 7,618 lbs.of food was donated during Customer Appreciation Days. That was equal to  6,348 meals distributed by the Utah Food Bank.

Most needed food items are:

   Peanut butter

   Canned tuna

Canned fruit (especially small pop-top variety)

   Canned stews and chili

   Boxed meals

   Macaroni and cheese

   Pasta

When you go: Take a jacket and wear sturdy shoes or boots. The top of the mountain is usually 15 degrees cooler than the valley and the footing is rough. The view from the top is a treat. You can see across the Salt Lake Valley to the Oquiirrh Mountains beyond.  For more information: www.Snowbird.com
