Jacob Royal Seastrand from Boy Scout Troop 557 in Holladay was awarded his Eagle Scout rank on Dec. 20.

Jacob loves the scouting program and has learned many things while earning this award.  He loves the out-of-doors and especially enjoyed earning his camping, fishing and wilderness survival  merit badges.

Jacob’s Eagle project was collecting and purchasing items for Primary Children’s Medical Center.  He wanted to serve other youth and children.

Jacob is an eighth grader at Olympus Jr. High.  He loves to play basketball and baseball, go boating, snow ski and be with his family.
